Rhode Island Partnership for Home Care Foundation

The Rhode Island Partnership for Home Care (“The Partnership”) Foundation is the charitable and educational arm of the Rhode Island Partnership for Home Care. Established to support the advancement of home and community-based healthcare services and supports across the state, The Partnership’s Foundation focuses on education, workforce development, research and public awareness initiatives that strengthen Rhode Island’s home care, home health and hospice services delivery system.

The Foundation works to enhance the quality and sustainability of healthcare delivered in the home by supporting training and professional development opportunities for home care, home health and hospice clinicians, paraprofessionals, operations staff and organizational leaders. Through scholarships, educational programs and workforce initiatives, The Partnership’s Foundation helps ensure that Rhode Island’s home care workforce remains well-prepared to meet the growing needs of patients and families who rely on services delivered in the home.

In addition to workforce development, The Partnership’s Foundation supports research, data analysis and educational resources that inform policy discussions and promote a greater public understanding of the value of home-based care. These efforts help highlight the critical role that home care, home health and hospice providers play in improving health outcomes, supporting patient independence and reducing unnecessary institutional care, such as hospitals and nursing homes.

Through its programs and initiatives, The Partnership’s Foundation is committed to strengthening access to high-quality home care, home health and hospice services and ensuring that Rhode Islanders can receive compassionate, effective care in the setting they prefer most — their home.
